Don't think so...I like Eberle a lot, but if Seguin doesn't fit in here as an offensive guy not sure Eberle would either...as DoubleA said, contract is ugly...$6million per for next 6 seasons..
Is this something you are hearing or just a bored Monday?

lol just asking Oilers fans at work what it would take for Eberle. Most would want to ship Hall first though if they do deal a star. I think we need another RH shot, not sure if Eberle fits the system but I would be interested to see how he would do with Bergy.

Also most replied Bergeron has to what they would want for Eberle again highlighting how underappreciated he is around the NHL fan base. |

Haggs well-timed hatchet piece on Seguin ... right on time http://www.csnne.com/blog...ishing-under-stars-system
Makes some good points, but I hate when this sh!t comes out after the fact, makes it seem so petty. - Double_A
its pathetic really. I don't know what I would do as a 21 year old kid with a 7 digit income and every girl in town trying to ride my jock but I would have made Seguin look pretty mild.
We got a kings ransom but man I enjoyed watching him when he was on. |

Marchand, Quaider and a pick for Eberle? I would. - Cape Breton Bruins
I love Eberle
One of my top 5 non Bruins....Peter Mueller no longer counts since he's in Switzerland. |

I'm not sure that the ransom was so grand ... Seguin is killing it everywhere but the faceoff circle in Dallas. Eriksson was looking like he was having a hard time adapting before he got his clock cleaned ... Lord only knows what he's going to look like now. Smith is a career 3rd line guy, Frasier is the new Martin St.Pierre, and the book is out on Morrow ... I think he'll probably be a 4-6 guy myself, from what I've watched so far... But the jury's still out
I know I'm in the minority here, but I'd trade all of it back for Seguin in a (frank)ing heartbeat. Speed and skill like that don't come around every day. Who cares if he (frank)ing parties ... So do I |

Eriksson will be a difference maker we just need some patience there but yes I would prefer the speed and skill of Seguin. he's just a kid and a part of me feels like the bruins took the easy way out dealing him off instead of mentoring him and trying to help him along. But we don't have all the info so (frank) knows what's done is done and we will see how Erikkson does in the long run. |

they gave up a lot and you are basing your opinion on a guy in loui who hasn't come close to hitting his stride yet
seguin will take years to be a center
right now he is a wing, playing center, on a marginal team |

It's the Kessel trade all over again, and look how that turned out.
Culture is really important to this team and they toss the guys that don't buy in regardless of skill set, I'm fine with that. Seguin wouldn't be putting up those numbers in Boston, and Ruff is already on him about having to pay the price to be a better player.
I'll take the team we've got and a cup over Seguin or Kessel every day of the week. |

that's just it. he may be putting up points in Dallas but it's not helping them win games. |

Chemistry is huge in hockey
Tylers antics in Toronto during the playoffs were unacceptable for a future face of the franchise. At Least when Patrick Kane gets obliterated he does it in the offseason and shows up on the ice. Seguins had 1 goal through 4 rounds. Difficult to say his off ice wasnt effecting his on ice.
Combine that with the 1 year dip in salary cap, plus the raise in his salary and he was the logical choice to move. They took on Peverly's salary to boot. Nice player, but he wasnt' living up to his number either.
I like what the Swede can be. If he still is off come January I'll be nervous. Smith doesn't do much for me. A nice pass here and there but a 3rd/4th liner. Morrow may be the wildcard and Harvard is great at finding young D
They got 1 big piece who was a child off the ice, we get solid pieces to retool numerous parts of the organization for years to come.
Thansk for the Tampa game in 2011....best of luck Tyler |

@cupofchowdah: P-Bruins score 8 goals gainst the Hartford Wolf Pack. Cunningham with 4 goals, Fraser with a hat trick. Spooner with magical talent.
Hmm.... |

Missed the game, but looks like Cunningham busted his slump tonight in a big way ... He's had a really slow start this season, until tonight. Frasier with a hat trick as well, and Spooner with 4 helpers.
Only negative looks to be Svedberg giving up 5 goals on 23 shots |

And he can fight ...
But can he translate the AHL success into NHL success? That's the million dollar question.
Guys are knocking on the door ... I think the merlot line's days may be numbered.
