Thought the comments regarding shipping him out held some merit ...
One thing Spooner has going for him is Cloooooode's trust ... So far. |

what did phil and seguin both have in common
insane skill
no d
immature
didn't listen
one wanted out, the other didn't but you wouldn't know it by his actions
if a player wants to be a hockey player and not a fantasy pool stud I see no issues in them doing well in boston
ever hear krejci biotching about not being able to be creative, savard?

Christ ... the kid's already logging a not insignificant amount of PK time. He's probably got more PK minutes already than Seguin and Kessel did in their collective Bruins careers.
Moving the other 2 was more about $ and attitudes than skill. At the moment don't see an issue with either for Spooner. |

kids are going to make mistakes on the ice
when you don't improve on the same things that you are coached to improve on and then shake your Richard in management's and your team mates faces by not listening and then partying, and the cap goes down...what the (frank) did you expect
seguin is pretty to watch, i was a big fan, but he is like watching mens league right now
the pretty goal, no d, we all know his skill, and his warts
some choose just to biotch every time they see a highlight goal and disregard the flaws to his game
they tried to work with him, he didn't do his part
i have said all along, if the cap wasn't going down i am 100% confident that they would have given him at least half of this year to get it straightened out
the cap did go down, they made a hockey decision, and they got a pretty nice return back for him
maybe the stars make the playoffs, then all the seguin ball suckers can see first hand how his face gets eaten by thornton and getzlaf in the first round then you can tell me how (frank)ing awesome he is in all 200 feet
suck my balls |

Last night was the perfect example, watch Pernell's goal where he takes a (frank)ing guided tour of the offensive zone and Seguin is just pulling an OV standing still, day dreaming in the middle of nowhere. |

"To call Smith a “throw-in” would be to discredit both Smith and Chiarelli. Smith was going to be an NHL player and Chiarelli probably wouldn’t have traded two good players for one good player and some spare parts."
good article btw |

(frank) me hey ... B's (or 28 other teams) could've picked him with any of the prior 128 picks, but it hurts a little more when it's that particular pick that gets him. |

Wonder what it would take to get Caveman back in the mix? He's UFA after this year. |

For starters, it will take a couple of trades to free the logjam of our own defensemen ...

I like the kids but I feel we need more veteran stability if we want to compete in the playoffs. |

I love Stu, who here doesn't? But I would give up very little to get him back as a depth guy. |

You got it. Lupus not bad, Kessel is what he is and Phaneuf is just plain stupid and often lazy. |

Anyone see Phaneuf in the last episode of 24/7? Playing ping pong and came across as a total douchebag...
