yes cause the Oilers need more forwards - Rayven
Hendricks will be good for them, they could use NHL level grit. |

Klesla on waivers from the 'Yotes.
Big body, expiring contract, shutdown style of play ... Might make sense to put in a claim as it would cost nada.
Somebody go club him in the knee so Chiarelli becomes interested

I'll tell ya, Beer and maybe others would kill me, but if the Yotes tank I'd take D Mo off their hands in a heartbeat if it's cheap enough a return. |

I have always liked him but didn't impress in his time in Boston..not really a snarly type defence guy like Seids who I think we need...

Ya he's no Seids but we ain't gettin one. He somehow was expected/anticipated to be some sort of offensive dman when he came here for some reason. Really good shot but no. Good, not great, in both ends. Very good experienced NHL player with team comfort. And thick remember. |

i've probably said it here before, they are like an nfl team that drafts 13 offensive lineman and have no qb..just makes no sense the way they were "built"
they clearly have the assets to deal up front to make them a TEAM..not sure what they are waiting for..
i would be livid if i was an oilers fan and they didn't do something this trade deadline and definitely before the end of the draft..get the pieces in place for next year, be prepared when the draft rolls around and be ready to hit the ground running day 1 of training camp
they are out of excuses |

yeah agreed. Living in Edmonton I've been to several games the past two years and Lars Eller was absolutely right. They look like a junior team. When the Ducks rolled into town last year I couldn't believe how big everyone on the team was, the Oilers had nothing for them, I think they ended up with 13 shots and lost 3-0.
Hall and Nuge always seem banged up. Eberle is inconsistent and Yakupov isn't engaged because he's taking a back seat to everyone else. One player who almost always impressed me live was Gagner. I've mentioned several times on here that he has a similar skill set to Bergeron when Bergy was younger. I think he can be a 60 pt, two way guy if coached up properly.

And I'd bet $100 he's the 1st one to get traded out of there *sad trombone* |

not even close, those teams could all play d
sure, they won some games 6-5 but they played d when they had to
you don't win with just offense |
