Peter Cehlarik, LW Lulea (Sweden) Czech native playing in Sweden isn’t the greatest skater, but is a dangerous offensive player because he has soft hands and good vision/instincts on the attack. With his size, shot and offensive upside, Cehlarik has NHL potential but the question right now is where in the draft you take a prospect who is still very much a work in progress. This is not a high-end player, but in the right organization, and with some added quickness to his first few steps, Cehlarik might develop into an interesting prospect.
Red Line Report says: “Tall and lanky with great hands, but feet betrashy him." |

Bruins got the aforementioned Cehlarik at 90, a lot better prospect than many, many of the guys picked ahead of him. |

Bruins GM Peter Chiarelli on Tyler Seguin: 'Got to become more of a professional'

Bruins GM Peter Chiarelli issued his most emphatic critique of Tyler Seguin since the forward entered the NHL.
“He’s got to commit his mind and focus to the one task at hand,” Chiarelli said. “He’s got to become more of a professional. You know what? I can say that about a lot of 21-year-olds. I know he got criticized for playing on the periphery and all that stuff. He did. He’s got to commit to being a professional and focusing on the game. Simple as that. He does that, we don’t expect him to be crashing and banging. Just play your game.”
Inquiries on Seguin withered after Nathan Horton declared his intention to test free agency. If he were to trade Seguin, Chiarelli said he would demand an elite young player or prospect in return. Even if Seguin is not traded, Chiarelli hopes the chatter will straighten out the forward.
“I hope it does,” Chiarelli said. “If it doesn’t, I’d be more concerned. We gave Tyler a big contract because he projects and he had good performance. I would expect that going forward.”
Starting next season, Seguin will earn $5.75 million annually for the next six years. |

Hopefully it was a scare tactic because he does need to be better because he can. We have seen it already. But its not time to quit on him yet. |

a bit of a cluster(frank)?
Wonder what the Bruins will do to attempt to replace Horton? I'd say they have interest in Lecavalier but so does 12 other teams likely driving the price too high. Briere would be cheaper but has been injury prone. Iginla? yeesh. Second tier guys like Ryder, Boyes and Hedjuk are out there.... We can go 10% above the cap and make a trade later. |

And that's with doing basically nothing ...
I think we're gonna be ok. Lecavalier would be great, though.

Lecavalier would be unreal on either of the top two lines but that would require some serious manouvers on the part of Chia if the rumored 5 year/25m price tag is accurate. Basically bye bye Seids or Boychuk and Peverley. |

Before we broke up for the year, I didnt realy want anybody on the open market. I wanted to move Seguin for PAvelski to get a solid finisher and create cap space, and try to keep as many of the current guys as possible. Horton and Green Peace included.
Now....this Horton thing doesn't smell right. I think his at home T and A has more to do with his decision than anything else. Probably see him in Florida, Carolina, or Tampa when all is said and done.
Since 18 is gone, probably move 19 to the top line and try to get Ryder back on the 3rd.
I hope Harvard's public tongue lashing wakes Mr Maturity the fu

Yeah, cause all this time while the US is going to poop, all I could think of is how Africa desperately needed a power upgrade and how we should be the ones to pay for it.
More grounds for impeachment, as if there aren't enough already |
