Not a fan of the new playoff system...Bruins are presently 2nd in the conference so they would play highest seed wildcard which is TB....even though TB currently has more points than both Philly and NYR...dumb

Habs seems to be a bad match for us right now but we have overcome that in the past during the playoffs. Leafs are fine except the media is almost unbearable as Busher said. We have destroyed Tampa for the most part but stats like that scare me too.

facing a former clutch playoff goal scorer and potentially a hot goaltender? meh you can make an upset case for any opponent but I agree CLB would be my first choice if I absolutely had to pick. And then Tampa I guess.

Andrej Meszaros remained on the right side on a pairing with Zdeno Chara in practice yesterday. Julien wants Meszaros, a left shot, to get reacclimated to playing the right side, which he’s done for much of his career. He played mostly on the left side with Philadelphia this season.

Meanwhile, Dougie Hamilton, a scratch on Sunday, was on a fourth pair with Corey Potter, but Julien said not to read too much into that. Julien said he hadn’t decided which defenseman he’ll scratch for tonight’s game, but said Hamilton won’t sit for long.

“Dougie has played good hockey and he’s been good for us, so Dougie is not going to be the guy that is going to be singled out here,” Julien said. “Dougie is going to be back in our lineup, and it’s just a matter of me making those tough decisions. . . .
