"Staying Sharp with Three Games Left

The Bruins are coming off a 4-3 shootout loss to the Wild in which the they thought they didn't play tight enough, especially in the final minute of regulation when Minnesota scored with an extra attacker to force overtime.

Late in the regular season, with playoffs on the mind, the easy approach could be to let up. As such, Wednesday's skate was down-to-business.

"You’ve got to have a practice like we did today. It was based on being sharp and some intensity and it doesn’t have to be long; it just has to be good," said Julien.

"Guys have to understand that these last few games do mean something. It means staying sharp."

"You don’t want to start the playoffs on a negative note because you just kind of coasted through your last few games. And again, we’re in a position here where we can finish at the top of the League and all we've got to do is show up and play."

"They’re getting lots of rest, short practices; I don’t think our team is fatigued at all. No more than any other team. So we’re fine here."

I play him in the last game of the season so he's not going into the playoffs "cold" … Other than that, he's off from this moment on. Remember how gassed he looked in the playoffs last year? I'd like to avoid a repeat of that.
