Get rid of one head case just to bring in another? If Homer wasn't willing to deal coots in a deal for Weber, why would he for an unnecessary scoring asset and an above-average at best goalie? Especially considering we lacked defense from our forwards last year, and coots is our best defensive forward. Trade doesn't make sense to me.

I actually like him as a GM. He's put in a diffcult spot. Snider tells him what to do and won't accept a losing season. The Bruins and Hawks experienced a few losing seasons in a row, which helped them obtain their top talent. Homer would never have that opportunity.
