not to bring up the past again, but I think carter and richards was another snider mandate. The dude was in tears as he discussed trading them away. They were his picks, he scouted them, came up with them, almost won a cup with them.

I couldn't agree more. James van Riemsdyk has has all the tools to be an offensive force. I just think it would have made more sense to use him as a bigger package. Again, this is after the fact but he just had a great season.

its laughable at best. look at how they have come out of the woodwork to bash this guy now that he is out the door, with all their "unnamed" sources and what they have heard from other people, and reporting it as fact.

Real journalists would never be this humiliating to themselves, or the people they work with. But it seems like journalism is dead.

I would be all for Jones. Puck moving defenseman with high upside are tough to come by. I'm sure he could still be a risk but it's a risk I'd be willing to take. You can find offensive forwards, the Flyers have never found a problem doing so.

This explains why you and I get along so well Jsaq. Of course I don't have kids and the fiancee enjoys hockey too. But the drinking beer and screaming at the TV part I'm all over...

The one thing I will give this team, or whoever is in charge, they have fire.

Even though at times recently it has been a little exhausting with all the BS, I couldnt see myself rooting for another team.

They may be crazy, but they are my kind of crazy.

I really hope they don't waste important cap $$ on Luongo. Sign Emery and if Mason doesn't cut it next year, get a goalie next summer. There's no need to go crazy right now.
