Not really what were looking for. We need good two-way forwards. I would want a strong defensive center who is good on face-offs. Giroux is forced to take too many defensive zone face-offs.

Could resign Adam Hall. Or perhaps check in with Dominic Moore, don't know even if he will return to play hockey. But solid FO guy (54.3% over the last 4 years playing) and good PK and can chip in 7-10 goals a year. Would definitely take the load off Giroux on the PK and tough defensive zone draws.

I agree that they need to be better winning draws, but I'm also not going to pretend that Adam Hall or David Steckel are going to be guys that I'd want out on the ice in the last minute of a game, against the opposition's top line.

There's a reason why guys like Hall/Steckel/Konopka are in and out of the lineup/on waivers... they're barely replacement-level NHL players.
