No, sorry, we don't have that word here in Pyongyang.
So... if you're only keen on protecting your own personal wealth, and feel no responsibility whatsoever to your fellow citizens, then I'm assuming you'll be glad to relinquish all claims to the publicly provided services, infrastructure and protections that the rest of us seem to value.
It might be fun to build/maintain your own roads and bridges, insure your own bank deposits, inspect your own food/medicines, police your own neighborhood, defend your own interests overseas, put out your own fires, and provide for your own safety net should ill fortune, sickness or an act of god destroy/upend your life... you know, the kinds of things that come along with living in a modern day commonwealth.
And, in the event that you aren't able to do any of the above yourself, you may find that the cost of turning to private providers might actually take a bigger bite out of your wallet than the tyranny of the State ever did.

That's fine, but what do you think Kimmo Timonen was slotted as when he came over? Until the guy plays a full season, which hopefully he will next season, all we have are opinions.
I just said that I think he can replace him. You saying "NUPE" doesn't make what your opinion correct -- it just means that you don't.
Time will tell, and the odds are that you might be right. But I do think that you could be wrong. - AllInForFlyers
I like Gus a lot and he has made tremendous progress, even in the space of the last few months.
I do think he still has a ways to go.
I am excited to see him get the chance to play a full season.

I tweeted earlier that Miller is amazing. He's making people feel sorry for a guy getting paid $23mm to not play for their team.

That forward corp is depressing. Rosehill on the 3rd line and no choice but to play Akeson and to have Mcginn in the top 6? Glad we didn't go that route. - JAKEw1234
I think that was the idea. Plug in the worst possible names to make it look like trading schenn and coots would destroy our team. |

Oh I don't mind paying my share to provide basic needs. My issue is when the IRS spends 200 million on a week of conferences in Vegas. Or NPR spends 220 million in a state of the art new building in DC. When the government gives 1 billion to Pakistan. When I see people that win the lottery still getting food stamps.
I have to work 4 months before I start to keep what I have earned. Big government only exists to inflate it's own pockets. Wellfare is how all large democratic governements have fallen. Why work when the governement will give it to me.... Come on.
You can call me cold, or heartless, but Winston Churchhill said it the best...

Agreed, they threw the bank at him, failed, and Nashville saved them from themselves.
Again...Awesome player but that's pretty irrelevant when you field 2.5 AHL lines in from of him....Can't play all 60 mins either - Hype97

If one Erik Gustafsson can't replace Kimmo Timonen, how about two?

(Oilers prospect, puck-moving dman, would make a great Gus-Gus tandem) - Tomahawk
That would be tremendous to pick him up, if only to pair him with our existing Gus and make Jim Jackson's head explode as he tries to describe play between the two Gus'. |

Well considering the Forward core we would have WITH him I'd venture to say you'd be right about where you are now. Except we'd be complaining about no goal scoring and not bad D.
If they had traded away everything they would have a similar situation to Nashville now but with a worse goalie and slightly better offense. How'd this season go for them?
Don't understand why you think Shae Weber fills a need you had before AND the one's your trade would create.
Weber via offer sheet=Perfect fit
Weber via your best prospects and two future picks= Not so much |

I look at it this way... How are we going to resign Voracek, ,Read, Giroux, Schenn, Coots, Laughton etc...
It's a moot point anyway. Lets not drag it out and drag down the board. |

Laughton is so far down the road. Schenn and Coots still have 4 or 5 years until UFA. Voracek is already signed at a nice contract. Also factor in the rise of the cap which will occur. |

he got something wrong in a twitter xchange a few mos ago and i was really being diplomatic about it. he wouldn't own up to his mistake and he was rude to say the least- very unprofessional. |
