MacK, Jones, Drouin, Barkov, Nichushkin, Nurse, Lindholm and Monahan are going to take up the first 8 picks I'd imagine. Then with Shinkaruk, Ristolainen, Zadorov, BoHo still on the board, along with Pulock, there's a lot of options. I like Pulock's upside the most, especially for the needs of the team. I don't put as much stock in size as much as some people do especially with defenseman, yet Pulock isn't "small". I love his offensive game, and his shot is Pronger-esque

His rankings are from talking to some GM's & scouts. Each team may have them a different way.

MacK, Jones, Drouin, Barkov, Nichushkin, Nurse, Lindholm and Monahan are going to take up the first 8 picks I'd imagine. Then with Shinkaruk, Ristolainen, Zadorov, BoHo still on the board, along with Pulock, there's a lot of options. I like Pulock's upside the most, especially for the needs of the team. You can't blame him for not trying though. You could say that Bryz and Bob were both victims of the coaching and fanbase. He's tried alot of things to help our goaltending, so I wouldn't blame it on him. And the defense? Well fine, our franchise has a weakness. Most franchises do. Maybe we can start to turn it around by drafting Pulock this year.

if homer had avoided impetuous mistakes like bryz, things would look a hell of a lot better, for sure. hell, if he just kept carle and jvr, it likely would have been a better season.

don't really like the steit move, but let's see what he does from here. I'm encouraged by the CBO, so he's 1 for 2 for me.

Claude Giroux, Jake Voracek, Wayne Simmonds, Luke Schenn, Steve Mason, Brayden Schenn, Sean Couturier, Scott Laughton, Nick Cousins and Ryan Pulock might be a pretty decent core if they all play to standards.

Keeping JvR would have meant no L.Schenn and I have to completely disagree with you that JvR over L.Schenn would have meant a better season. He's going to be a top pairing staple for this defensive core.
