You want to add to that?! IMO it's either Vanek + or Miller + but if they really believe in that idea (the russian connection) they might do it.

I honestly think it's not too weighted their favor... at all. I still love the idea of a ridiculously skilled Russian line, though.

I would think both Vanek and Miller are still here after draft day.

My problem with the deal is Kuznetsov hasn't played a single NHL game. Sure he's dominated in Russia and he's got plenty of talent but to give up both Vanek and Miller in that deal...is quite a bit for a maybe?

Miller, Vanek, + for Kuznetsov, 23rd overall, Johansson/someone else

Kuznetsov, I love, but it looks like he enjoys playing in the KHL, Johansson is nothing special imo. and one 1st for both Vanek and Miller, you could argue we got more for just pommer by himself.

I hate to say it but I agree. If they sign extensions I'd be okay with it. Not thrilled but okay with it. If there aren't extensions worked out and they are still on this team at the start of the season I would think this offseason is another dissapointing failure knowing that there won't be a big free agent splash happening
