Brian Elliot had a .919 sv% in his most previous playoff. Ryan Miller's previous performance was .917. Ryan Miller has declined since his last playoff with an injury history that already exists in the St.Louis crease. They should look elsewhere, especially if Buffalo is asking for Oshie lolll.
- Rysko81

The team in front of Miller sucked wind these past seasons. He face the most shots.
most games lost we 1 goal games 2 at most.
He is a good goalie.

tough call

staff, ott, flynn, kaleta

those 4 rw'ers are above him on the depth chart

heaven forbid we have a coach that has common sense to flip vanek to rw and put him in the slot (he has the best shot on the team so it makes sense)

I guess it depends on the moves in the off season

Tropp plays ahead of Flynn. Had Tropp been healthy last year he makes the team out of training camp. I see him making the team

Edit: only thing that could hold him back is Rolston has seen more of Flynn than Tropp. But I think Tropp brings that Andrew Shaw like game to the table

I thought tropp was LW? I remember him filling in on the top line in 2012 when vanek missed a few games (shocking huh)

About what? He has shown that he possesses great skill for his age.

At the very least, he should be considered a worthy prospect. You can overvalue Miller all you want, but getting a good young player like Tarasenko in return would be spectacular.

Rolston mentions and seemed pretty serious that players will have to earn their spots.

If I were GM I would move kaleta out of here and start tropp on 4th line with second team pk and pp time

see what he does from there

I have a pet peeve against players like Gerbe, Johansson, Stalberg. Guys that can fly and have skill but have no hockey IQ whatsoever and can't finish to save ther lives. They always leave you underwhelmed

Kundratek??

Thag is a new name to me...

I was thinking vanek, ennis, and a 2014 2nd for backstrom and their 1st

Or

Vanek for kuzentov, mid prospect, and a 2nd that becomes a 1st if he doesn't come over l.

Agree with the previous poster, Tropp should also play above Kaleta, guy only had 1 goal this year. Tropp provides adequate physicality and more production than Kaleta.

Agreed . roster was full last season and moving players around became a task. Hopefully we can get some moved out that aren't working and see some talent .

Maybe, it seems that guys like that often underperform in the playoffs when there isn't a ton of room for them.

I was about to respond to your other post about Kaleta being ahead of him on the depth chart until I read this post.

Kaleta and Scott shouldnt start more than 82 games combined.

Tropp has more offensive upside and does everything else Kaleta does minus stupid poop. We have Ott, we dont need Kaleta.

About getting Tarasenko for Miller.
