I can't believe I listened to WGR on the way to work this morning. All they were talking about is how viable a trade partner Philly is for Miller. Did they not even pay attention to the deadline? Flyers already traded for Mason and that ship hasn't even set sail yet, why would they abandon that ship if it hasn't even left the dock yet?

Just listened to Holmgren’s comments on the Bryz buy out this morning on HTM and he sounded like they were pretty set on giving Mason the majority of the load ( ) and just finding a back up that can take some pressure off. Seems to me that the PHNX situation could be better suited for Miller if they can’t get Smith signed, and I’m still not ruling out FLA either.

I'm not going to say that Philly is the "perfect" trading partner for Miller, but them acquiring Mason, who makes peanuts, does not prohibit them from acquiring Miller.

Agree about 95%. I think that philly makes some questionable decisions here and there in the name of winning now. That being said, i don't see Miller being an option for them. I can't imagine that they want to see Schenn or Couturier playing against them for the next few years, assuming that's the price.

Guy has never even topped 55 points in a season, never scored 20 goals in a season, and has missed a lot of games due to injuries.
