Expect a last place finish with that D. - broadstreet11
honestly- our D lives or dies based on 57. if he wakes up and plays the way he should it changes everything.
if not- i agree with you... |

Steve Mason is your starting goalie...
your opinion has no power here. |

more than anything id loooove the attitude he would bring. its one thing to get it from a 5-6 dman (weber), another all together from a top pairing guy (which dion would be here).
he would allow Ehrhoff to be a 3-4 guy and take some pressure off him.
a line-up including Ott, foligno, kaleta, tropp, zemgus (maybe), scott, dion, weber, mcnabb would go a long way towards changing the soft culture built up in that locker room.
hell- we might even actually have an identity... - battelmt
If he was signed for more than one year I'd be down
But I just don't see him re-signing here
He'll get just as much $$$ from a better team and bolt |

Page 50..... anything is possible... I think I saw BuffaloHardHat posting pictures of bestiality one day.... or was that just pictures of the women chanting his name outside his window at night....
can't seem to remember..... |

Getting rid of the soft Captain was the biggest hurdle in getting the soft attitude out of the locker room. Ott, Kaleta, Weber offer that attitude. Tropp, Foglino, Mcnabb and Zegmus may offer that edge but I have my reservations. Especially with Foligno disappearing last year. |

Calgary looks to have a rough season ahead of them as well
But ya,
I'd say a bottom3 finish sounds about right
*thats assuming we trade Vanek & Miller for picks & prospects

Myers is what he is. Don't expect a 180 on his performance next year. Expect more of a 40-42 degree turnaround. |

My guess is that Dion would have a chat with Robyn and then pull a Carter if traded here. |

He had it some games
His inconsistency in his effort seemed odd to me
Was he playing hurt at times?
Hopefully Foligno has a nice bounceback
I'm def excited to see McNabb up her running guys over |

If he tries to do a 180, he ends up doing a swan dive.

So the fact Steve Mason is the starting goaltender as of right now, something I have no control over, makes my opinion powerless? Makes sense.

YOU REALLY OVERVALUE Miller!!
The ONLY way you get Oshie is for Miller, Vanek and a #1.
You'd stand a much better chance of getting Bergland or Stewart. Two fwds on STL untouchable.... Backes and Oshie. - Stricknasty's Hero
Say's you.

I don't know. I heard someone had a source that said it would be closer to 43.5 degree turn, but its just a rumor... |

Put a little next too your Loves. Only way it wil work. - cabin
Ryan Miller
Tyler Myers
Maxim Afinogenov
Marcus Foligno
Zemgus Girgensons
Jason Pominville
Pekke Rinne
Evander Kane
that is my list... anyone else.. like Stewart or Shea Weber or Lecavalier or Stastny or Ryan... I might talk about them a bit... but it isin't like I would rush out for their jersey or anything.. I like their style of play and what they could bring to the Sabres.. but wouldn't bend over backwards to get them... |

I didn't even think of that
Sure seemed like Regher wasn't too happy here
He looked pretty average,
But for LA in the playoffs I thought he was pretty good
Good enough to be on the top pair w doughty |

You remember how physical he was to start the season.. he had like 10 hits against Philly in the season opener...
I thought I remembered hearing that Lindy told him to settle down and let guys like Ott and Kaleta do that amount of damage to their bodies because they are used to it.
Then again.. I also heard that he relaxed off the hitting because he was playing with a seperated shoulder almost all season. |
