Well, that's not going to happen. McPhee is agressive, but he's not stupid. - truthbluth
Tell that to the Erat for Forsberg deal.
He is desperate...ddesperate enough to throw away a potential star |

Filip Forsberg...... just brings me to know that nothing is out of the question...
I'd love Kuznetsov.. It would cost Vanek. - JVince11
I'd do Miller, Vanek, + for Kuznetsov, 23rd overall, and Marcus Johansson.
They'd probably have to add in a huge conditional asset as well, if Kuznetsov doesn't play here. Probably a 1st next year. |

Streaky; Dominating complete games and then disappears for complete games - JCSabs06
correct me if Im wrong but you just described what EVERY hockey player goes through at some point throughout an 82 game season.....where were some of the biggest stars in the game against their series with Boston...Crosby,Malkin,Iginla, did any of them score more than a few points? |

People said that Gaustad was horrible and would get us a 4th round pick...
wait... whats that..... he got us a 1st round pick!?!?! - JVince11
I just ignore ppl for the most part
Miller will get us a good return
Vanek will get us a great return
Bryzgalov has 23mil coming to him over the next 14yrs
I could see him going back to PHX for a decent contract, or I'll bet the KHL is a real option w him too... He'd get 5mil a year from a team there |

He's job is on the line (I sure as hell would not wait for a player That might come over in 2014 or 2015 )
he might just pull a radulov and stay there |

I think he has to wait a year till the team can sign him again. |

way to be cloutier-like. I know your not so dumb as to believe yourself in this blog. The market is FLOODED with goalies and only a handful of teams looking. Why would a team trade top dollar return for Miller when they have options galore on the market for they year. Nabakov, Thomas, Luongo, Smith, khudobin, possibly lehtinon, hillier to name some. how many teams are looking? Philly, Calg, Isles... Miller is a good goalie, but expensive and with questions about his tude. Buf should still trade him, but they should expect a treasure chest for him... |

Pacific division
San Jose - Niemi
Anaheim - Fasth/Hiller
Los Angeles - Quick
Vancouver - Schneider
Edmonton - Dubnyk
Phoenix - ?
Calgary - Berra (swiss national guy from bouwmeester trade, but still a ?)
A couple suitors there maybe. Edmonton,Calgary,Phoenix. Edmonton and Calgary would be tough teams to deal with and Phoenix has no money. Keep in mind Miller has only one year left and there's 8 teams he can choose not to go to.
Central divison
Chicago - Crawford
St.Louis - Halak/Elliott
Nashville - Rinne
Winnipeg - Pavelec
Dallas - Lehtonen
Minnesota - Backstrom
Colorado - Varlamov
Replace Varlamov? Otherwise, that's it
Atlantic
Rangers - Lundqvist
Pittsburgh - Fleury/Vokoun
Carolina - Ward
Washington - Holtby
Columbus - Bobrovsky
Jersey - Brodeur but might retire?
Islanders and Philly - Need a goalie
Jersey has no money. Islanders and Phily could be fits
Noone in the Northeast/Tampa/Florida need a goalie.
So really..... Colorado,Edmonton,Phoenix, Calgary,Jersey,Islanders and Philly are the suitors at the most.

Trade Miller, Vanek, + for Kuznetsov, 23rd, Johansson.
Use #8, #16, and possibly #23 as well to move up to #5.
Draft Nichushkin.
Nichushkin - Grigorenko - Kuznetsov.
It's the Russian 3! |

#IBN Rumors: Bryz buyout might be setting up a huge blockbuster trade between Sabres and Flyers #Miller and maybe #Vanek #Couturier
Of course Miller and Vanek's salary cap would be about 13 million next year |

After this years fantastic Stanley Cup playoffs and an MVP performance from our hometown young stud Pat Kane.
Did anyone still wake up this morning honestly still saying to themselves that they would not want Pat Kane in my opinion where he belongs?
In his hometown Sabres gear?
I hope and this is just my opinion that Darcy does the right thing before too long and brings Pat home where he belongs.
Player 2013-14 2014-15

The thing about that deal, Filip Forsberg is not Kuznetzov. Not even on the same plane. Also, Erat is no slouch and has years left on his contract. And Latta will be a productive 3rd liner (10-15 goals/yr) in the NHL. I don't think Leonsis would let him deal Kuz. |

Miller has little value on the trade market. i wouldn't expect any package for him to eclipse what LA got for Bernier. no point in dealing him unless the Sabres just want to move on from him. - scotch_tape
watch and see what Miller brings, most teams think he is pretty good |

I understand how good Kuznetzov is but are you going to take the risk and wait for him
1-2 years maybe more for him when you need that one puzzle piece to win that cup
Filip Forsberg is no bum i had him in the top 4 last year how he made it to 11 is a joke |
