He could also be the next malkin so the possibilty is exciting. - Snagglepuss
True.
But wait until he plays 10 games to pencil him as a top 6 forward. |

Nichuskin hasn't played an NHL game... Remember a former top 10 pick named Magnus Prv? He's supposed to be a (frank)ing all star if we go back 3 years. Instead he's a tweener. Not enough skill to be top 6 and is a complete puss.
Nichuskin could very well be that. - Pilgor09
lol he plays the same style as MPS too. I could see him turning out the same way, difference being he refuses to develop in OKC and plays his career in Chelyabinsk |

I would be all for acquiring him after a buyout. Just not on his current contract. - Ihatebrianburke
Cap hits not that bad. Just the years.
If he was bought out I'd throw 15 million for 3 years. |

Eberle and the 7th for Logan Couture. - Pilgor09
If I'm trading Eberle and the 7th, Mcdonagh is coming back. Don't need more top 6 forwards |

teams like PHX or NYI'd welcome Lu with open arms. Why put him on waivers when you can deal him for a 7th round pick?
Less if a press disaster, goalie controversy averted - TheNugeIsHuge
Sorry dude, I think this post is absolutely ridiculous

Yup.
I've seen Nichuskin a bit and the only difference is he isn't as big as a perimeter player as Pussarvi. |

why?
You can put Lu on waivers and get nothing but bad press.
or
You can deal Lu for scraps. Have a very minor asset, and no PR nightmare.
Someone tell me why that's ridiculous |

well Dubey just had a .921 facing the 2nd most SA/G in the league on one of the worst teams in the league, and the last 3 times Emery has played over 25 games he's had a .900, .905, and an .890. That's why. - TheNugeIsHuge
Get your facts straight if you are going to post. Emery just went 17 wins 1 loss and a .922 save percentage with 3 shutouts. At one point he was 13 and 0. If he had not got the dreaded LBI in the last week of the regular season he probably would have been playing instead of Crawford. Emery has proven that his hip issue is behind him and will be a highly sought after ufa on July 05th.
I like Dubnyk but he is still struggling to be a true #1 and I will admit when he is on he is great but still not sold on him. |

Dubnyk just needs to be more consistent and not allows weak goals in. I however do agree with Emery coming to the oilers to push Dubnyk for the #1 goaltender. Emery would be a solid pickup, whether he became a backup or not. He does make his team look accountable, and that's what I like to hear. |

You could throw Cloutier in net and he'd have similar stats with that team in front of him. |

Paajarvi is gonna light it up under Eakins. Last year should have been his rookie season. He should have never been rushed the way he was. |

I tuned out for the fourth time when you said:
"Trade next year's first round pick"
No!! No! Bad Richard, Bad!!
Are you kidding me? The Oil likely aren't making the playoffs next year, and you want to ship away our shot at McDavid, well before we see where we're at???
Are you cereal?
