If he had not got the dreaded LBI in the last week of the regular season he probably would have been playing instead of Crawford. Emery has proven that his hip issue is behind him and will be a highly sought after ufa on July 05th.
I like Dubnyk but he is still struggling to be a true #1 and I will admit when he is on he is great but still not sold on him.

Whoever suggested trading Eberle should be shot. What is wrong with some of you people?? You get a superstar like Eberle and despite his size is a truly gifted player that his name should never be mentioned in trade talks.

I would rather consider trading the injury prone Nuge and his namesake post the Nuge is Huge can be packaged up with him.

They need a #1 center and a #1 D man. If they could get one for Eberle its worth considering.

I won't lie and act like I watched the Oilers a whole lot this season, but according to the statistics, he had a very similar season as he did his rookie year (+/- is really the only notable difference.)

His rookie year seems magical to look back on it... it was a fairy tale how everything went well for the kids in their first year.

PRV's biggest problem is his mojo. He worked on it for almost a year and came to the Oil ready to hit first and the cannonball with hands we needed, but that disapeared 15 games in... same thing with Eager, and Hordi was nvr there... The new catchphrase "the belanger triangle" explains itself.. Lander has more potential than Crosby, Stamkos and MacKkinnon combined, but doesn't translate to NHL...

A good second line winger (Ebs), probable 2nd line centre in the 7th, and a useless pick in the 2nd for the Oilers cause we can't draft well outside first overall.

Dubnyk just needs to be more consistent and not allows weak goals in. I however do agree with Emery coming to the oilers to push Dubnyk for the #1 goaltender. Emery would be a solid pickup, whether he became a backup or not. He does make his team look accountable, and that's what I like to hear.

Emery has played over 25 successfully (not even to Dubey's level of success .921) one time in his career. In '07. If he can't play well for more than 25, how can he be a starter n play 60+ in front of a weak D core?
