It makes no sense. The Flyers seem like they make this up as they go. Especially in goal. If you knew your going to buyout Bryz then why would you allow yourself to be outbid by Toronto for Bernier who is the best most ready prospect. Then him and Mason can earn the job. Bernier was sitting there. Ray Emery, Nabakov, Loungo all the same cycle of goalie fill ins the Flyers have had since they traded hextall away at Lindros trade. You may say Bernier is unproven but that's better then what they do, they go for the guy with nice resume but isn't the same player anymore. Take a chance with Bernier. I'm so sick of this team not knowing what to do in goal. |

I'd take Pitbull back for the dumb commericals they have now! Ugh! |

Probably because the Leafs could make a better offer/fit than the Flyers.
I am all for ragging on this teams approach to certain things but using this scenario makes no sense.
How much would you have been willing to give up to get Bernier and his 36 games of experience? |

They are taking a chance, but on Mason, not Bernier. In order to out-bid Toronto the Flyers would have to give up Mason, Laughton, and our 2nd.... You want to pay tha much when Mason might be the answer? |

Philly didnt have what Toronto offered for Bernier and dont forget Toronto had to take salary back as well. As cap strapped this team is would you want them giving up cap space to? Mason is pretty legit prospect has looked really good and really bad. Fact is it cant be much worse than what they had in Bryz compared to what he was paid. |

It's not like Streit sucks defensively...he has shown in the past, that he can actually play pretty good defense, but his consistency in this area has waned lately...could just be a mental thing, who knows. I think if he get's a strong defensive partner to play with, any defensive shortcoming can be largely mitigated. I'm sure he'll have his "wtf" moments, like any d man, but I'm not expecting a horror show back there. - exlund
I wouldn't pair him with Coburn (he needs a bounce back season) but would be ok with seeing him with Grossmann or Schenn. Sadly both of those guys are going to see the toughest lines. Tis a conundrum... |

Did you have it completely collapse?
The trick for a puncture is (if you have nothing else), get a piece of sandwhich wrap or a sandwhich bag and picture frame tape it over the hole in your chest.
Leave the bottom part un-taped to allow for drainage.
