Agreed. - Jsaquella
They have seen Zadorov a fair amount as well with going to see Stolarz play, might think he is high on their draft board like Ristolainen |

More like RooNosHockey is me though... What came first the chicken or the egg. Really doesn't matter. I forgot my PW to this SN, created a new one, got banned for 6 months for some stupid stuff... like the NHL crack down on stupid stuff they did the same here too... And when my ban was over I decided to come back to my true self... In all my glory. |

Agent Ritch Winter was on a sports radio show, Oilers Now, in Edmonton Wednesday where he said Ilya Bryzgalov would probably be open to signing with the Oilers.CHED's Dan Tencer tweeted: "Winter said Bryzgalov would hate the weather in Edmonton but would love the energy in a hockey city and thinks the team can win. He'd come." Winter also got in some shots at Philadelphia by saying, "It's terrible for goaltenders in Philadelphia" and "There's more wrong with Philadelphia's goaltending than just the goaltending."

Nill will take the BPA, he was the Asst GM with the Wings for almost 20 years & more than likely picked up a few things on how to build a team. |

I read an article that tracked dropping players in the draft and that over the last5 years Russian players have dropped the farthest from their projected spots.
So I'm holding out hope for Nichushkin. |

Doesn't mean you discount the deal. If nothing else, it netted us a young defenseman in L. Schenn that should be coming into his prime years while wearing Orange and Black. The fact that JVR was young and had multiple years left on his contract is what made him so appealing, despite his lack of success. |

Ok. how have they done? Russians really do scare me. The khl threat is very real and they are boom or bust never in between |

Was watching Philly Sports Talk with Holmgren. Thought he was about to cry about having to pay Bryz 1.6M for next 14 years. |

KHL money, signability.
The one I remember was Chereponov who was rated anywhere from 3rd to 6th and ended up going in the 20s. The writer also discussed at length Tarasenko. |
