wow! Throw every nba mock draft out the window. I guess that's what happens with mediocre draft class. Still a couple surprises in the first four. |

I'm hoping the next couple days.. up to and including the draft are totally nuts in the NHL. The entertainment value will be immense. |

I think it will be crazy. Gm's will want to make up for the inactivity from the lock out. plus the new cba, and decreasing cap. Good times ahead. |

Hossa stays in Chicago, it was the right move. Don't understand moving Bolland. |

The Sixers are swapping Jrue Holiday and a 2014 1st rounder for Nerlens Noeal. 2014 pick is protected 1-3

Sixers love them some big men with wrecked knees. Jeff Ruland laughs at that pick.

That was wrong, the Sixers are getting Noel and the Pelicans 2014 1st round pick for Holiday and this year's 42nd |

Not a bad risk move, Holiday was okay, but he wasn't a franchise changer. |

Im reading that Noel may have gone #1 had he not gotten hurt. Seems the Sixers made a good deal and are pretty much handing Evan Turner the ball. |

Meh... The Pelicans pick won't be a top 10 pick. And it's 1-3 protected. I don't even care about the NBA. Trading an established point guard that averaged 18 and 8 for a 215 pound pipe cleaner with a bad knee is idiocy.

Iggy was an All-Star, so what does that mean? They were going no where with Holiday, Noel might be a bust, but considering he was figured to go top 2 it was a good risk IMO. |

They werent winning with him anyway, they basically got 4 first round picks this year and next for Holiday. Tear it all the way down and build it back up. |

LATEST ON LETANG
Letang was offered an eight-year contract at around $54 million (total), sources told the Tribune-Review. The Penguins' proposal contained little wiggle room, and the club would like to get a response — even in the form of a counter offer — by the weekend, the sources said.
Free agency begins July 5, and the Penguins do not want to arrive at that date without resolution on Letang's future, the sources said.
The Penguins are agreeable to paying Letang slightly over $7 million annually, sources said.

And if we look to our right, we can see yet another ridiculous contract offered to a puck moving defenseman.... |

I guess. Like I said, I don't really care about the NBA. A skinny kid like Noel coming off a knee injury doesn't seem like he will stay healthy. What do I know.
Who cares! The real draft is Sunday. |

basketball's weird. i feel like you have to take crazy risks like that to move forward. it's not like the sixers were on the verge of becoming a contender
at the very least this is the most interested i've been in basketball in over 10 years |
