Personally I don't see him as a #1 D man, maybe top pair but not the cornerstone for a teams defense.

He's a very good defenseman but he can make a lot of mistakes also. There are times where he gets lost on the ice in his own end. He's a stud but the money he is asking for is elite type. Not sure he is on that level.

Button has Furcale in the top ten picks... is he crazy?

Personally I would love it if someone picked fucale in the top 10 solely because it increases the likelyhood of a good forward or defenseman falling to us

The Sixers are getting two young guys in Noel and Carter-Williams. Getting another 1st round pick next year. Also freeing up $40M over the next four years in cap space.

He is going to gut some of this roster and hopefully sign a player like West or Josh Smith. So I think. Cap room is also important in the trade for Holiday (who I like).

Yup. They get NO #1 pick next year (protected 1-5 though).

I think Fucale is more a pick fit to go in the 20's than top 10 but if somebody wants him they won't wait

Lottery protected 1-5 in 2014. I'm assuming if the Pelicans land in the 1-5 spot the 2015 pick is unprotected. Any verification on that?

I can't say I will focus on 1 player but I have a handful I'd be happier with at #11 than other players.

Fucale while I wouldn't be crazy with at #11 I would not be shocked.

The 2014 nba draft is supposed to be the best since 03. The sixers guaranteed themselves a top 5 pick in it with how terrible theyll be plus an extra first rounder next year.
