"Tampa Bay Lightning forward Ryan Malone was arrested early Saturday morning for driving under the influence and possession of cocaine, according to a report in the Tampa Bay Times.

"We are aware of the situation concerning Ryan Malone this morning," Lightning GM Steve Yzerman said in a statement released later Saturday morning. "Ryan will not travel with the team to Washington today, but beyond that we cannot comment further at this time."

Malone didn't play in Tampa Bay's 3-2 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets Friday, his third straight game listed as a healthy scratch.

In 57 games with the Lightning this year the 34-year-old has five goals and 15 points."

They aren't unbeatable but their combination of speed and structure have given the Bruins trouble this year. Playoffs are a different animal however, lean on them for a few games and they may buckle.

wings goaltending can be a tad inconsistent at times but if howard is on...and he has looked good lately
speed, datsyuk, maybe zetterberg and coaching
d is suspect and must be killed on every shift
