Don't forget that first, MOC signed Thomas to a real contract that many questioned at the time

We don't win that cup without Thomas, and as far as I can remember, none of the pieces from the Thornton trade were on that CUP team roster.

Can honestly say that I don't miss Thornton one bit, and never did. But that doesn't mean that I was happy with the return that we got for him at the time.

Cap going down played a huge part in this in that it didn't give them the time to see if he would have gotten his head out of his ass.
The other option would have been to move Marchand if he has been doing the same type of poop, to send a message..I have no idea if that was the case.

Seguin was never going to be a center here also plays into it.

All true, but if Seguin produced in the playoffs he would still be in Boston...1 goal in 22 games doesn't cut it....he played himself off the 2nd line...
