That NJ was literally broke, and we are for sale. I have a friend who works for a team (not local) who told me that a while back. It looks like he was at least half right. - dcb1
Who hasn't known the last few seasons that NJ was broke & for sale??

Maybe I'm missing something too but I think their explaining that Grabner has skills and assets most NHL guys don't have. His anticipation and speed can kill teams but if he was able to figure out how to deke and bury the puck, he would be an extremely dangerous player.
The kid scored 16 goals this year while only averaging like 8 minutes a game because the coaching staff for whatever reason didn't like or trust him out there. - brodydog29
finally, someone who has decent interpersonal and communication skills.
yes, i agree that grabner can read passes and has scary speed. reminds me a lot of hagelin only arguably better at anticipating plays.
but to say if he had better aim he would easily be a 50 goal scorer is just a bit silly. i know it was probably exaggeration but still you can say that about any player in the league...F THE ISLANDERS!!! |

Fair enough... with better aim he would be at least a 49 goal scorer!
Better?

the only reason JT puts up as many points as he does is because he has matt moulson and brad boyes on his line. and that's a fact.
any player with those 2 on his line would be a PPG player. |
