Panotch says Homer has a "lot of balls in the air" so either he's trying to make moves or he's in Chinatown at a washy-washy place. |

is this a joke ?
a forward to replace a guy who played out of position because we have too many centers and we have no spot for him?
brilliant - Don'tForgetTocchet
Who's centering the second line? I'm not sold on schenn or coots playing there next year. |

Panotch would've just as correct if he hadnt said "in the air." |

You wont be sold on anyone until you give them a shot. Coots should be fine there. |

probly wouldnt work out capwise but i have to admit i liked seeing Vinny centering Simmonds and Schenn in that lineup someone posted yesterday.
i do get nervous with just giroux, schenn, couts down the middle, at least in the short term.
but yeah i dont want to trade coburn to "replace" briere - Crimsoninja
i have no problem with that lineup that i thumbsed up, i liked it, but i dont see it as replacing briere
briere no longer has a spot on the team so what is needing replaced imo

homer's job is on the line and he obviously isn't sold on either of them stepping into that postion next season |

If Coots and B. Schenn are part of the core with G and Voracek, Lava has to give them a ton of minutes and hopefully they fulfill their potential. I have zero interest in trying to acquire Vinny L. because I don't want those two having their minutes cut. |

i thnk it's a giant leap into the idiot pond to say that the flyers need to replace briere - Don'tForgetTocchet
they could use a scoring winger, but i wouldn't seek to trade coby for that purpose. i'd rather trade mez for a song and clear the $$. |

This is your argument? He was buried on the 4th line for large periods of time last year. |

you have to earn minutes not just get them because your a first round pick. |

that opinion is valid, and also has zero relation to my comment that someone saying we need to replace briere is dumb. |

I expect one of them to be gone before the end of the weekend. A lot has to do with laughton's rise |

ASF will be on @ 10 pm w/ Startare who has moved to 97.5. always liked brian and thought he deserved more air time instead of losers like rob charry. he knows more about the flyers than most local radio guys. |

heard pagnotta from 4th period claim that they're not, but they would only be moved for a top tier, high impact plyr. |

the team has lost a lot of good hands guys the last few yrs and briere is yet another one. must have some type of confidence that mez will be back.
i wouldn't move coby though, unless the offer was really stellar. - isaiah520
Or that they have something else up their sleeve to acquire another defenseman they really like. |

He was mishandled last year. If he has to earn minutes by being a point producer on the 4th line and pk as you suggest he's never going to go anywhere. |
