You'd have to move up in steps... the price to get any of the top-4 clubs to settle for moving down to #11 would be huge... Flyers would probably have to first get into the 5-7 range, then try to move higher from there.

We can't move our #1 next year. Nobody will go the the draft.

Couturier was the 8th overall pick and has the makings of a future selke candidate. This is a deep draft so the 11th pick would still bring a good player. No one really wants Vanek because of his contract. Carolina is looking for defenseman

Vanek has one year left....I can name 8 teams off the top of my head that would take on a year at 7 to win right now...Detroit, Montreal, Islanders, Ottawa, Nashville, Carolina, St Louis, Winnipeg.

Yea I get it. I was just thrown off by the 7 mil or 7.5 being too much of a hit for Letang, but most would agree hes a franchise guy. Thanks what those guys make.
