The Philadelphia Flyers have made inquires with St. Louis Blues general manager Doug Armstrong about the availability of goaltender Jaroslav Halak, csnphilly.com reported Friday.

Halak lost the No. 1 goaltender position to Brian Elliott this past season.

Both goaltenders have one year left on their current contracts heading into the 2013-14 season. Elliot ($1.8 million cap hit) is set to make far less than Halak, who has a $3.75 million cap hit.

lol... I don't know anything about him..

Atkinson at 5'7 and 165 lbs scares me.. I do like that on our RW depth chart though.. it says that his stick handling and speed are ridiculously good. He isn't afraid to bang bodies... loves to fight for pucks in the corners.. and isn't afraid to step up to bigger guys.

I do like the sound of the guy.

he has had multiple concussions every year and at 6M cap hit for 3 years is ridiculous.

I don't even feel bad for WSH.. they have HORRIBLE cap management.
