Darcy made it seem like Miller/Vanek talks wouldn't heat up until teams go after the UFA's they want.

This is a draft that could go in any direction, and if trades won't heat up until UFA time could they hold on to Miller and Vanek and then trade them for a pick that was high up on their board?

so i just want to make sure i have this clear. you think that because calgary is in a full rebuild mode, they should take a 32 year old goaltender making 6+ million for one more year before unrestricted free agency, and a "top 4" defenseman in sekera who has two years before unrestricted free agency, as a trade for the #6 pick which will more than likely end up with a possibly #1 center, something the flames organization has been looking at acquiring for over a decade at least.

i like the sabres fans. passionate and smart. they deserve better than this.

They had asked a couple of the top NA and European prospects to attend this luncheon but when Pulock didn't show up Flyers media jumped all over it and made this huge thing out of it that he didn't want to play for the organization. Poor guy had no idea what was going
