Dude seriously I never hinted at telling you to shut up, that's a complete fabrication....I simply stated I meant what I said. You were the one that put down my opinion with your emoticon making it seem as if my opinion was stupid.

You know exactly what your doing on here and how you twist things and if not, that sir is truly the sad part.

Having said that I'm done with you.

- twistedwrister9

so emotiocons make you feel stupid? Interesting, must be the time of year close to the draft all of these sensitive men......Also it is your choice to feel stupid, I dont make you feel anything.

If you were not telling me to shut up then why the sarcastic rebuttal? Dish it out but cant take it.

I couldnt find it...I watched a video of Darcy on sabres.com but he definitely was not grinning ear to ear. In fact it was a profile shot when he was interviewed...maybe it was youtube or something?

Hey boys not to interfere but you are both right. Depending on what game Sekera is either super valuable or flat out awful. Fact is he is a top 4 puck moving defensemen that if given more freedom I think he could turn into a pretty decent defensemen. Only reason I'm for trading him is we have 2 of those already in Ehrhoff and Myers (hides). We need a banger on the blue line. Just as some see Miller as a valuable piece others see him as worth a 2nd round pick. It's all in perception. I think that some teams looking for a cheaper solution on the blue line sees him more valuable than we do
- Stripes77

Totally agree. AS much as I like Sekera's game, I think Pysyk and Ruwheedel looked ready to fill his role, and then some...and the other young'uns will get some time if Sekera is moved. And yes, we need another brick house on the blue line since (hopefully) Jonas is the man in the cage.

I agree but I guess agreeing on here isn't the thing to do!! In that case you are WRONG haha

Who do you think would be a decent blue line free agent pick up to fill that role? I don't think McNabb is the answer

It doesn't make too much sense for the Sabres to trade up a couple spots. Nichushkin, Monahan, Nurse, Lindholm, etc are in that wheelhouse. outside the top 4. Unless Regier wants someone specifically. They should package 8 and 16 with a roster player for a top 3 pick if that was possible.

I could see the Sabres taking Shinkaruk: http://t.co/IlWUXzilj4

So who is the consensus badass D-man we might be able to nab in round 1 or 2? Nurse has a mean streak, but I'm reading mostly about puck-movers in most of the scouting reports for the defensemen among the top 50 skaters.

No way, especially how deep this draft is the only way they give up both picks is if they move to number 1 and even then I think they will be hesitant to do so. They would want to keep 2 picks in the first round IMO

I agree forget Nurse, if Lindholm and Monahan are off the board then take Shinkaruk...Sabres wing prospects are 3rd line at best besides Armia.

We're not getting Shinkaruk at 8, book it. There will be better guys there.

The Russian Zadarov. He is a bad bad man. Needs some position work but he is a good skater and a big hitter

I am intriqued in Jordan Subban. He seems like r3 pick to me. I like his offensive game, but the size is worrying. As far as r1 or 2 is concerned, Nurse or Zadorav. They would be great stay-at-home D-men with monstrous size.

Subban would immediately be tied for shortest D man in the league with Francis Bouillon...

That's true. It IS deep. But it depends how badly the Sabres want a top 3 pick. You pay what the market dictates. I doubt we see any deals for the top 3 at all but who knows.

Is he a reach for us at 16, or do we hope he's still there in rd 2?

Even more to the point, do we think Darcy is targeting bad, bad men in our top 4 picks?

(He did trade up for Ziggy last year, so maybe it's tough D this year?)

sensitive one you are. Posting your opinion on a message board for all to see then crying about it if someone criticizes it. If I knew you were so sensitive and that I would of hurt you so bad I would of never posted. Sorry, now I feel bad that I have hurt you.

I I think he goes in the 12-18 range. He might not be there at 16. I've seen mock drafts where he goes early I've seen some where he is there at 20. If he is there at 16 assuming we still have that pick and we got our forward at 8 I would take him
