Name a few of them. There's Boston and Detroit but thats about it. Even Boston had Horton a top 3 pick when they won. |

2 words Ville Leino and if you want to go further.....Tyler Myers. Both of those contracts are horrible, he has no clue with money. - SABRES 89
Leino I agree with but at the time you wouldn't have tried to lock Myers up to a long term deal? It's easy to say now it was a bad decision

Pegula wanted Leino. Regier should have had the balls to tell his boss no.
Myers contract - who knows. |

We need to keep Vanek to mentor our younger players and to provide scoring for us next year and in the future - Cmulvey12
Vanek, although is a good scorer and real good player, is not "Mentor" material.
I think Ott is the guy to fit that bill... |

I'm going to guess it's a cap/salary friendly roster player. Nashville isn't NYC so I doubt they'd take overpaid Stafford. Someone on twitter guessed McNabb, even though he's not a roster player he'd be good to pick up. - GilPerreault11
Vanek maybe sekera and 8 to get to four. If they do that and get Barkov. that puts
Hodson on the block. If Darcy is truly trying to build a team. you go 2 scoring one checking one high energy center. Not 3 one way centers. |

I think (if the deal mentioned is correct) we shouldn't move up if this is the cost. I'd rather trade guys for Mid-range/picks around 10 and have a haul like Lindholm, Ristolainen, Zadorov, and Mantha instead of Drouin alone...
I'm becoming such a flip-flopper as of late. |

I don't even follow him and I'm pretty sure he's blocked me anyway, but I have to see his crap when I go to #Sabres because he's conned enoough people to retweet his plagiarism |

Regire wanted Leino because they knew Brad Richards wasn't going to come here, so they came up with some bull$$it story that they didn't want to "lose out" on him. Really, he scored 19 goals for the Flyers and couldn't make it with the Red Wings. |

I still have hope for Leino. But it was Pegula who wanted him and Ehrhoff. |
