Vanek plus 8 plus a roster player is way too much to move to 4. Stay put if that's the case. Vanek plus 16 should be enough to get to 4 IMO. A former 40 goal scorer can't get you into the top 5 without a top 10 pick?? Price is too high for business

If he was signed long term I agree. Moving up 4 picks is big in this draft.
After top 3 go u would get to choose your guy without anyone deciding four u.

Grigorenko is very much touchable.

Vanek, although is a good scorer and real good player, is not "Mentor" material.

I think Ott is the guy to fit that bill...

Maybe not the greatest, but you need veteran presence in the locker room. Either way we won't be able to replace Vaneks scoring, he's scored the 8th most goals since the lockout. Players like that don't grow on trees
