Why? He is an awful "defensemen". He is more of a forward that plays on the blue line if you ask me. We need more of the shut down guy type |

Roy. As much as I would want to say Hasek I can't. Roy in Montreal changed the way to play in goal. Not to mention the single best smack talk of all time!
Broduer benefited alot from the system but still is one of the best
Hasek was the most fun to watch out of all three. Had he won a cup here I would have to change the order - Stripes77
I like Roy, I just like Hasek better and think if he played on a better team he would have won a lot of cups. I just hate when people call Brodeur the best (I know he's really good and one of the best, just not better than Hasek) especially when most of them (or the ones I talk to at least) only look at wins and use that as the reason why he is better. |

He's not awful, although I would take quite a few guys over him. Definitely not worth 7+ mil |

I think Grigorenko is a boom or bust guy. Either he'll end up being a stud or fall to the wayside and be another f'ed up first round pick... |

Of course they could never fit all that under their cap, but I wouldn't give up that much for him and I have no problem trading almost anyone for an upgrade in long term talent. |

Read the book a couple of years ago and it's one of my favorites. I a little scared off by the PG-13 rating and the whole "Summer Blockbuster" feel that the trailer gives off. Have you seen the movie yet? Any good? |

It's funny because as a kid growing up in the Hasek era I always thought he carried the team. Looking back at it now his first couple years yes but in 98 and 99 the team in front of him was very very good defensively. He wasn't facing nearly as many shots and they really played a shut down game |

last movie I saw in the theater was the last terminator movie
I saw WWZ last weekend in the theater and it was awesome
I heard it's a bit different from the book but they are planning on making two more movies from it
If I can not find a good version on line, I may go back and see it again this sunday
It was that good

agreed
they have drafted and traded for the centers
fixing the d should be the biggest priority and they need one proven scorer and a shut down d man to play 25 minutes a game
they either need to let myers play his game or get that 28 minute point getter |

Biron got them the first pick in the second rd so in essence it was biron, novotny? for zubrus and move down a few spots |
