I could see the Oilers do any of the following:
-take Monahan or Lindholm, ESP if they aren't sold on Gagner as their #2 center for the future
-take Nurse or Ristolainen, bc like u said, they do need defense
-they also need a LW2 to play with Yakupov, making Nichuskin very intriguing if available
-trading the pick for an NHL player that can help right now

They have more than one hole,
It'll be interesting to see which way they go since it'll clearly have an effect on what we do right after them

If Tambellini was still in charge, Id see them doing that.

But MacTavish knows he needs either a D-man or C with size. And with Monahan gone, and too early for Horvat, he'll go with a solid D-man. Thats IF he doesnt trade the pick for experienced help. I wouldnt be shocked if we see that pick moved to Philly in a deal for Coburn and the 11th pick. Philly loves Nurse and Risto

That's probably the most logical trade suggestion. I'd love to see us move up but I don't see that happening. I could see something like that playing out.

Or we trade Miller for Coburn and 11. Then Coburn and 11 for 7. They get a defenseman, we get 7, philly gets Miller.

Might be the worst proposal yet, but you never know.

I could see Miller & Vanek each get moved for picks & prospects
I'd actually be shocked if that doesn't happen

As long as Luongo doesn't get bought out before the draft,
Miller easily has the most value of any available goalie IMO

Or even instead of trading 11+Coburn for 7 if it was 16+coburn+52 or something we could take a forward and defenseman at 7 and 8 and another d-man at 11

At 16, Wei could have a choice of guys like
Zykov, Erne, Mantha, etc
All of the above I'd be ok with

As suggest above, we could even trade down to 19 & get one of them and pick up an extra pick

We def have a lot of options
