What I heard Kris Baker say is that Makarov was overplayed this year and suffered from being overplayed. Knapp , he does not sound very high on at all.
The one goalie in the system he seemed to really like and think can possibly make a jump is UllmarK.
Kris seems to think he will be ready before Knapp and Makarov.
Getting back to Fucale. I would not want the Sabres to go goalie and 16 either. It does sound as though there is quite a talent gap from Fucale to the next rated goalie to be drafted.

Ok, we traded for Minnesota's top goaltending prospect this season and just signed Enroth on a bridge deal (for him and us, really). So even if we think Makarov played too many games this year (and I'm not sure I get why that should concern us) I don't think Fucale is likely to either be the most sure fire player or the biggest area of need for us with that pick.

Yes. Vanek. Also idk if this was reported but Flyers called WSH about Holtby and said they also talked about Tim Thomas on the Islanders about how that might happen.

If Holtby moves so does Miller if you catch my drift.

RW is our issue, and Lindholm plays both RW and C. Similar to Ott.

J Schultz, Ward, Chimera. But none of them would get it done, except maybe Ward...and then it's still really tight against the Cap. Laich, Erat, Green would make it fit with their salary.

I'd trade any of the above, though obviously the trade would need some tinkering...
