I'd love to see him prove that he's better than Jonathan Drouin first. |

Dear God.. if this is true .. what the hell is Vancouver doing? People say Homer has no plan, but Gillis needs to get fired over this.. To me the solution is simple.. you made a God awful mess in the contract with Lu.. you have a mulligan to get rid of it..even though no assets come back....CBO him, and go with Schneider. Simple... I have no idea why you'd shop Schneider, but it could be a ploy to raise trade interest in Lu I guess.

That's more or less why trading Coburn right now makes absolutely no sense -- unless they expect to throw Darnell Nurse into the deep end of the pool as an 18-year-old... oh wait... - Tomahawk
Would you trade coburb in part of a package that could get jones? |

They better go talk to Luke to see how that works out getting thrown into the NHL as an 18 yr old dman. Draft a D but be patient. |

Jagr lindros leclair ?? - griouxmvp2012
I don't think jagr would have been left out of that deal if he was here. I think they woul dhave wanted him instead of forsberg.
Of course if they still wanted brindy, I'd toss him their way for lindros. |

They seem to be shy about using any of their CBO's, even on Ballard and Booth. Maybe ownership has management over a barrel to exhaust every alternative first, including dealing Schneider? |

I'm starting to think that Gillis' job is on the line if he doesn't get a trade for Lu. Maybe he stuck his neck out with management and they don't want to eat the money Wheras, we are just fine doing that.. |

His full name is magnus paajarvi svenson, but they can't get all that on a jersey unless the letters go elbow to elbow. |

That's what I think. I've always been a huge Schneider fan, but I don't see a deal that makes sense. If we trade Coburn, I don't want to do it to get a goalie. Plus they are going to want a lot in return. I see them asking for Coots, and then asking for a Read, 1st, and prospect. I say no. I offer them Read and a second. Say no, then fine buyout Luongo. No reason for Flyers to jam themselves up. The Canucks are the team that is F'd. |

The act of a desperate team...I read a story about how bad Canucks farm system is..once their window closes and its closing quick they will be irrelevant for a long time . My guess they need any sort of young asset |

I think their window has closed and they've completely botched the goalie situation. Prob is. U can't trade for that contract |

Even if they did trade him they would still have to pay large portion of his salary....he kinda like their version of Ryan Howard |

Mr. Snyder put his stamp on the ridiculous deal so it's only right that he should be the one who pays for his mistake.
As long as it's freed up cap money, I couldn't care less if they had to pay Breeze until 2525. So, we'll have to foot another buck for nachos and a beverage at the WFC. I never touch the swill there anyway. |
