I always thought he was a good guy for the casual fan. He likes to talk about Bryz and the Flyers goalie situation, but ask him about the NHL draft and he won't be able to know one eligible player.

I think the activity will heat up about 30 minutes before the draft. I'm pretty confident the Flyers will do something then just stand pat with all of their draft picks.

All my friends are drinking, watching the draft, and bbqing at my buddy's place. Unfortunately i have to go to my cottage. Without internet connection!!

Im quasi amazed at some of the names in play, not necessarily with the Flyers but guys like Seguin and Skinner, Letang, Lecavalier available. Pretty crazy. One thing you do notice is the lack of prime Dmen available, sans Letang

I can't believe Homer would reach for a d-man at #11.

With their poor track record with defensemen, and to take a chance with one at that spot would be really be taking them out of their comfort zone.

They'd be much better off taking a forward if they feel the urge to stray from the "expert's" predictions.
