Does any else get that feeling that this team may look ALOT different in 48hrs....whether its good or bad

I really applauded them when they decided to move on from Matt Carle given what he signed for, but the Streit deal is an about face after that.

I know they badly need Streit's skill set but sheesh now they are in cap trouble again and have to move Coburn to sign a goalie?

i hear ya man. i was a carle supporter, but i also thought they made the right call in letting him walk (albeit a tough decision, imo)

but now? and it's unfair to judge streit in that context i guess because he had nothing to do with all of that (and it probably had a lot more to do with suter/weber than anything else) but he's gonna have to perform pretty damn well to change my feelings on this. say what you will about carle, but he filled a much bigger role than 3rd pairing pp specialist

obviously we need to reserve judgment until, ya know, streit actually plays a game. but i'd be lying if i said i felt good about it right now
