They won't get a haul like that from any team
That just takes their asking price and adds a top prospect to it? Way too much. - JAKEw1234
Then Carolina can stand pat and select at #5. No need to trade the pick unless a team overpays. |

From Lebrun:
An NHL exec has told him to expect at least 10 trades today. |

Except for that they need to retool their defense by trading their pick for immediate help. Believe it or not we actually do have leverage here. It's not a robbery, they have needs as well. |

Sorry, move UP for Fucale? If the Devils want him I suspect they'll move DOWN to add some extra assets and still get him. |

You're also not Carolina's GM and obviously don't fully understand their team's situation. They have most of the pieces they need: a good forward corp, an elite goaltender. But they still need to retool their defense by adding some top 4 guys. If they can add a top 4 guy and still pick #11 in supposedly the deepest draft of the decade, then they're going to do that. He put out the offer to trade his first, and this is a buyers market. It's not like we're proposing the idea to them. |

Goalies picked 1st round often don't turn out, anyways. |

Hold up. So you think Coburn and 11 lands you pick #5?
Your also not the GM. So you don't know what they are looking for. |
