Like I said, I would prefer to pick up a more experienced center whether it be Lecavalier by putting Brayden Schenn on the wing or having Laughton play else where and having Steckel center the forth line. I'm not looking forward to over using Giroux on faceoffs, while having all the other lines lack at winning draws by Schenn, Couturier and Laughton. - dingo8urbaby
I agree totally on the faceoff issue. But I don't think they can afford Steckel.

Flyers going to scoop him up at 41! - PLindbergh31
A trade will be required in the next 2 or 3 picks. Subans brother might be alright at 41.
Move coburn now to Colorado |

I think the team can accomplish that by just signing Adam Hall or a guy like that. - PhillySportsGuy
I would consider moving Laughton to fill an area of need. Talk to Nashville about one of their young dmen. |

When will it truly sink in with Vancouver fans that their GM just traded Cory Schneider for Bo Horvat and kept a goalie that doesn't want to be there anymore? |

If they're not going to resign blum, I'd be looking to see what it would take to get him.
Not a draft pick though.
**player***for his rights and a 4th round next year.

Wonder why he dropped - PhillySportsGuy
Hard to say, scouting reports say while there is no one thing he excels at he is just a good all around player who should be successful at the NHL level. Don't think he will last much longer. |

Is that any worse than trading a Vezina winner and buying out a guy who was awful, paying him 40 million dollars to play 97 games?
IMO, it's not even close. |

It feels good to no longer be the laughing stock
The Lecavalier buyout and now this trade has done a tidy job of turning attention away from us. |

For a third rounder, correct? Who did we take with that pick, Leier? (sp)

Meh. Schneider has put up very solid numbers so far in Vancouver. Bob put up startling mediocre numbers in his time with Philly. That one was hard to see coming. The Bryz contract was very stupid, I give you that. |

Second rounder. Stolarz |

The thing is, Luongo is still a capable guy. If they can smooth things over he can still play well.
Right now the Flyers are in limbo at the goaltender position. |

It was a 2nd and 4th rounder. We got Stolarz and Leier. Actually two pretty good prospects. |

Right I was only trying to prove that trading Bob isn't quite as comedic as many have made it out. No one would have guessed he'd even put up good numbers last season. In the beginning he was meant as a motivator for Mason. |
