Yeah, I know. I still just think its cool that he is so much of a fan that he makes them include it on the show. Nice to have someone plugging Philly/Flyers.
The show kinda sucks anymore tho since they went all Moonlighting with the Bones/Booth thing. I don't watch anymore. - TheGreat28
I never watched it...only thing i have ever watched with him in it was a really bad straight to DVD movie in the "The Crow" series |

I saw that...I am happy about Letang staying there...I think he is a good defenseman not a great one and this has long term implications on that franchise moving forward |

With the cap going down. I think they ditch fleury and then it'll be a team of the main 4 and 13 500k a year players. Good luck. This isn't basketball |

If Letang contract rumours are the true, the Pens will have 9 players signed and only $12m in cap space next year http://www.capgeek.com/penguins/ |

THAT I didn't know. Thanks. Yeah, picking Boreanaz as a stage name would be like choosing Estevez. |

Letang's extension kicks in for 2014/15. He's still only (ONLY) making $3.5M this year. |

Here are my thoughts:
1. Coburn trade - very good trade. Give him that one.
2. Briere signing - good signing, but likely overpaid tho in contract terms. Drury got 5/35 and Briere 8/52). Thank God for buyouts!!
3. Kimmo/Hartsy - Gave away a first round pick and then overpaid in length/years anyway.
4. Pronger trade - Hated it then and now. Too much for a 34 yo player, then had no choice but to give him that albatross of a contract to justify the trade. It was highly statistically improbable that Pronger would have played that contract out.
But I agree with your conclusion. Mediocre GM. Yes, he has some young talent now but what matters most is what he does now. - TheGreat28
Couldn't disagree more on the Pronger trade, if you could have some routine saves out of Leighton or some goals from Carter/Richards then that deal brought you a cup, and luca Sbisa is not Bobby Orr. Great risk on the trade, terrible decision on the extension, they obviously didn't understand the +35 rules. |

Well, actually, Most of the Estevez clan chose Sheen.
Martin Sheen is really an Estevez, and Charlie Sheen is really Carlos Estevez. Martin Sheen chose the name Sheen after Archbishop Fulton Sheen, because he is a devout Catholic.

Yeah its not for everyone. Believe it or not, the show really had great writing. I never watched it until reading about them delaying a season finale because of the Columbine thing and the fact that the episode also it had a school massacre in it. So I was curious, and it actually turned out to be a good show. |

Bob McKenzie tweeted that Alex Edler might get "Jeff Carter-ed". Referring to him being traded before his trade NTC kicks in. Carter-ed. |

I knew the names but not the reason Martin picked Sheen. Good trivia there. My point was more that if you're picking a stage name, you tend to Anglicize something not pick an ethnic name |
