Not so much fall out. Just doesn't fit well with how they are building the team.

5.725 cap hit but he doesn't gel with either of the staals and too expensive to fit on the 3rd line. Not enough defensively either.

I just think they over did it on the contract personally. It would just be better to use that cap space to get a top defender.

Whoever said it yesterday is right IMO, Rychel is the Corey Perry of this draft.

Myers is toast. He'll never be good and he certainly won't ever become Chara. I'd gladly take that 'Canes offer. They'll get the 8th pick and a declining defenceman, we'll get # 5 overall. Done.

I never understood the Myers love. Duchene should have got rookie of the year, not Myers. He won ROtY because people were awed that he was 6'8" and could skate. Big deal. He led the league in giveaways that year, if I'm not mistaken.

Get rid of him while you can. Do the 'Canes deal, Darcy.
