The Myers hate is mind-boggling. He is our best chance to be good again in the near future. Yes, he was awful last year. He was fantastic in the past and I think he will be in the future. Would I trade him to get into the top 3? Yeah. But to move up 3 spots to get a guy that might be available at 8? Um, no. Skinner reminds me of a slightly better (and more injury prone) version of Ennis. No thanks, one is plenty.

Just watched an interview with Darcy, it's becoming more and more evident that he is going to do absolutely nothing. I hate him with a passion. Not only is he keeping us waiting on the Vanek and Miller debacle, but he says he's set on 8th and 16th. It's the same approach he always has. He's terrible.

Way too out of shape. Hitting over 300 lbs by the end of the season isn't hockey player stuff. He was considered hefty when he was around 250.

Myers is toast. He'll never be good and he certainly won't ever become Chara. I'd gladly take that 'Canes offer. They'll get the 8th pick and a declining defenceman, we'll get # 5 overall. Done.

I never understood the Myers love. Duchene should have got rookie of the year, not Myers. He won ROtY because people were awed that he was 6'8" and could skate. Big deal. He led the league in giveaways that year, if I'm not mistaken.

Get rid of him while you can. Do the 'Canes deal, Darcy.
