People compare him to Chara because of his height. Myers is not even close to the same type of defensemen as Chara. Chara couldn't skate (he struggled this postseason) Myers can fly for a tall d. Chara has a cannon Myers worked on his but won't be nearly as hard. Myers is not a stay at home D. Please stop with the Chara comparison.

No Dice, Unproven Russian < Myers, Myers is a top 5 D-men in league (potential), still young, is working out in buffalo all summer, came into last year out of of shape. Give them sekera, staff, and 8th: call it a deal

It makes 0 sense to move Myers and the 8th for the 5th. Ridiculous offer. I would probably say no to Myers and the 16th for the 5th. If Myers has a bounce back season and shows dedication this offseason he turns this team around almost by himself. His growth is extremely important to this team.

I remember it yesterday. It was like 3rd and 5th by CBJ, and you said another team like Edmonton had an even worse offer.
