Just watched Garth Snow and his table chat after the Subban pick. Garth blew a giant chewing gum bubble. Wall to wall excitement #isles - jimmc7722
Why would that be exciting? I'm assuming its because Subban doesn't play goalie. |

Pure Offense... but tiny!!! - jimmc7722
You're right, he is small, but he has scored big at every level. Led the USHL in scoring this year. Last year USHL rookie of the year. High risk but potentially high reward. |

I dont know why but I think Snow did a great job today. I have been ripping him but he has came through. Clutterbuck great pick up. As stated before by me Nino was not going to play here I always knew that.
Now all we need I fell is still a top winger. A defenseman and a goalie, but I think he will take that real soon |

I'm very high on Strome and Nelson. Hope for continued good things from KO and Bailey. If the Isles can fill some holes this offseason, all will be well. Right now fans will be nervous. I can understand both sides of the Nino trade. - ses111
Nabby back in net would be good.
A vet goalie upgrade would be GREAT and a huge boost to start the season.
The other option I don't want to discuss. |

I'm not crazy about Nabby back. The idea of bringing in Bryz scares me though. |

We can not go into the season with Poulin and or Nilsson, we need to sign a goalie. I am thinking that the guy we are getting is Biron since he wants to stay in NY. Halak would be great. |

Viktor Crus-Rydberg.....
Very interesting. Was considered amognst the best Swedes in this draft not too long ago. Playing in league and styles of play not best suited for him. This kid could be a steal. |

Biron is garbage. I rather have Nabby. |

Halak is the best alternative right now.
Hate to say it, but they're looking at Nabby, Bryz or, even Thomas on a one or two year deal. Snow clearly thinks our goalie of the future is already in the organization. |

That story about Pullock losing his little brother in a car accident two years ago is terrible. |

One question, is he a goalie? If he is my head is going through my PC monitor.

You are right he is just have this unnerving feeling that he will sign here. I rather have Nabby as well. I am hoping for Halak at this point though |

I have no idea why I even watch the draft? Unless the Isles have the #1overall, I should skip it. It just bores and fustrates me. Have to skip until at least the Isles are in Brooklyn. - ses111

I hope he's right but we do need a veteran to lean on. I think Bryz ends up in EDM and think Halak gets moved to PHI. I forgot about Thomas |

Well as you know Garth loves having at least 3 goalies in the lineup |

Everything is more exciting in Brooklyn X. It will not be more exciting ,unless the draft rules are changed or the Nets people own the team and we see Garnett type deals. |

I'll take a shot at Thomas for a year. I though he signed with the Jackets or was real close? |

Could you imagine this place if Snow traded three 1st round picks for two guys in their mid to late 30s? |

At least people would not fall asleep watching the draft. We would also have Islander people interviewed at the draft instead of going to commercial when they are picking. So much for a great playoff series. |

no.. you trade a top 5 pick for a 3rd liner?? Come on. These guys are a dime a dozen! I'm sure Nino could have been a piece in a deal to land us some actual talent. - Mr.Black
If Nino had played NHL this year and put up 25-30pts and the agent fiasco hadn't occurred, this trade doesn't happen or not without a better return but it must have burned Garth alot for him to give up on a Top 5 pick. Better for the team to get rid of the soft & spoiled. |

Thank God. Well now that the Isles have 100 goalies in the system, can we buy out DP now? |
