One thing I like, and something that bodes well for the future...we can roll 4 lines. Easily. |

So did I. - Cptmjl
I wanted Schenn....he's a power play creator....not for his team....in fact, none of the players drafted from Schenn to the bottom of round one are THAT special, except for Karlsson, and if we had drafted him with the Bailey pick, there would have been a lot of .... |

pretty cool that Brodeur got to call the selection of his own son - brodydog29
I agree.
Has there ever been a father and son goalie tandem in the NHL? |

Oh and lets not forget about Lee
practically the Same playing style,
Compared to Nino
Lee: Better Leadership, more heart, solid checker
Nino: Faster skater, harder shot
both had to work on defense, awareness (offensive and defensive), and overall agility |

I am here to keep you calm, not to worry...although I am going to sleep very soon. Elias would make a TON of sense for this team. Decent salary, a veteran (which this team could use), ideal 2nd line center, would not require a long contract. He is exactly what this team could use. - potvin05
All kidding aside. I'll take Elias. I do however want in writing from both Nelson and Strome, they will not cry if one of them has to start in Bridge.

I like Elias because he can still play at a pretty high level and would basically be a stop gap. There's no way Id take him more than 2 years. |

Yeah....I remember Hamonic AND Martin.....not bad to get three NHL players out of one draft....it sounds cr*ppy, but it's not football- you're not drafting 7 rounds of players who you expect to make the team. Not to mention, Poulin, Donovan and Petrov, who may turn out to be three more. - dcb1
I wasn't complaining about it. In fact I like Bailey. I was just asking if anybody remembers how the coliseum went silent that day. In the end it was a good choice by Snow |

I'm really interested to see if the Isles have better luck in FA this year. That is, if the Isles are willing to spend this year. |

I still like Bailey. No he is not the type of player to make those around him better. But you stick him with established top 6 players he can put up 50 pt seasons |

If Wang is willing to spend, I would think Horton would be very interested in the Isles. |

Weiss would be a better fit between bailey and okposo. The more I think about it the more I like it. Then strome can start on JTs wing. |

Isles got better today. Love the Cluttebuck move. Obviously is was best offer, sounds like snow was trying to move niño for a while. Would be incredibly happy with a scuderi or Andrew ference signing. Both very good stay at home guys with cup expierence

If Horton and Weiss sign along with Clutterbuck and minus was we traded Niño, not a bad trade off for an improved 12.
If this Snow-balls and Emery signs along with an improved D and we have a real good team. |

That he would. I just hope if the money is there, Horton does not reject the Isles. That would be a huge setback after making the playoffs. This teams an FA win. |

I agree. Need more help in Goal and D than forward. If Wang wants to spend on forward as well, who am I to stop him? |
