Haters going to hate. I was excited Nich was available but even the slightest feeling of him not fully committing to North America and I'd pass on him to. I'm fine with our picks. I like Connor Hurley pick, dude can play and like I think someone mentioned if his bday was a few days later he would most likely be a first round pick next year.

yup he has 75 pts in 206 games compared to Reggies 92 in 339

I used to very high on McBain though, something didnt click with him though

Agreed, I think this was a good trade I like McBain, I just hope Darcy makes a few more moves leading into UFA Friday

Getting your hopes up for FA is risky no matter what the FA class looks like but all we need is to overpay a pair of players like the Wild did to start getting players to take us seriously. Of course they had the home team card to play. But I wouldn't see us as huge players in FA. Sure a player here or there but no big name guys like Clarkson or Horton. I wouldn't mind a Weiss though

I said I wasnt thrilled with the Hurley pick, and Ill offer my reasoning. Hes the youngest player in the draft and is going to a college (Notre Dame) that plays a very defensive first system. Hes going to have to work extremely hard to be creative on a team known for playing defense first.

Thats what Im looking for. Criticism with substance. "I dont like it" isnt going to cut it. It just shows a lack of intelligence on the subject and, as usual from you, a trend of general negativity
