yeah and everyone one of those 4 blogs has 500+ comments.
most bloggers couldn't dream of those kinds of numbers.
garth is the only blogger i know that has had ~12 1k+ comment threads.
for all the poop everyone gives garth he gets MASSIVE hits, especially when compared to the rest of the bloggers.
when 100% of your income revolves around hits on your website, garth and his atrocious spelling are invaluable. - Putzfrau

problem is i really dont think he is moving those two - Mentalorgasm5
I do
I don't think either wants to stay here,
And there's no way he risks losing them for nothing
Just about every team in the league with cap room should want Vanek
And if NYI or Philly reall wanna compete this year,
Miller is the only real choice in net for them
And there are still some other teams I could see interested
Pitt, Wash, AVs, StL, CBus, Edm, Cal, 'peg...
Dallas?
We should get a nice return for both |

Love the Zadarov pick. Reminds me of Volchenkov when he used to be good but with better upside offensively too. |

I was thinking the same thing. Risto basically upgrades/replaces sekera. We have a soldified blueline for a long time. I think the rebuilding of our forward core is going to take 2-3 years but the blueline is solid.
When I first heard the pick at the draft, I was shocked but then I thought about it and paired with zadarov, we did well for ourselves.
too many players we really needed were off the board by the time we picked and we did the next best thing, shored up a position of strength and solidified it and now we can either sit on that position of strength (building from the goalie to defense to fowards out) or get creative in dealing some of our guys and get a forward or too that we desperately need. If we don't trade a forward, we'll be really bad and get to draft really good ones next year and the year after and the year after. |

Needs some more work though overall
He'll have time to do just that the next two seasons in the OHL though
In just two years, the Sabres have acquired nice depth at both center and defense

I said, "Nishcinin AND speedy small forwards," I think they passed on Nich not because of his size, but rather his attitude and issues with KHL....the other forwards, Mantha, Domi, and others similar to Ennis are not what we want, the Size and Beef we got on the back end is not something you can teach, as well as, they have the NA style of attitude we were looking for, The Sabres liked Greg and Girgs and I think they have the right attitude but I don't mind them not putting too many Russians in the same basket.... - MEBSabresFAN
Mantha similar to Ennis..... He's 6'4..... |

The thing about our picks that at this point they are just picks, they have not played 1 single game and there is no guarantee that playing in the Buffalo system is going to make them good/great or crap players.
Myers has turned into a basket case, other players quite possibly are nowhere near whey maybe they could actually be. I honestly don't see Miller or Vanek wanting to stay to be honest unless these guys play so lights out in training camp that they make the roster. |

Still kinda wish we picked Nichushkin, but I think some people don't realize just how good of a draft we had. |

The thing with me, There was no one I wanted more than Nichushkin except Nathan MacKinnon, so to have him there and available at 8 and to pass on him blows. The Sekera trade helped me lick my wounds from pick 8, but overall I cant help be disappointed. |
