If they don't sign Lecavalier, I think they get one of Clarkson, Horton or Clowe. - Jsaquella
I'd like to have Clarkson or Horton. Having one of Hatnell, Simmonds, Clarkson/Horton, and Rinaldo in your face at all times must be tiring for teams. |

I don't want anything to do with him. I think emery and mason would be a good tandem |

I dig Clarkson. Think he goes up to about $4/$5 million from his current $3?
I'm also a fan of Ference (if we move Mesz and/or Coburn) at around $3.5/4 for 3 or 4. Not sure how realistic that is though. |

I think he waits for Horton, who is supposedly asking for $6mm. Horton gets that, Clarkson will get at least $5mm |

I think coburn and read and a pick for Ryan - griouxmvp2012
Big hole on D then, especially with question marks around Mesz and Grossmann. |

And z2 - griouxmvp2012
Once Z2 hits the NHL. Good thing about players like him and Zac and Z2 is that they don't have to have good hockey skills to make it up to the pro league. They just have to bring their game. I don't wanna say I wouldn't be surprised if it happened, but I wouldn't exactly be shocked if Z2 made his debut next year. |

I don't think next year maybe the year after. So you think we are gonna follow Pitts and nj and make a big draft day trade next year |

You know it's a tough trade market when the only team willing to trade with you is your own. |

Also Rozsival and Clitsome out there...but I think we're pretty solid on 5,6,7 d-men. |

This is just for fun so relax!
The Hinke method.
Flyers realize the playoffs are just too far gone. Instead of going on a 10-5 tear they realize they need to shelve some players for health(Timo in particular).
Flyers trade Gagne to Montreal for pick 116.
Flyers trade Fedetenko figure a 5th, call it pick 145(probably get more).
Again, on the conservative side they finish with 39 points tied for 2nd worst. As fate would have it they get screwed again and pick 4th.
The Flyers now have:
4, 32, 64, 116, 123, 145, 153, 183
Flyers sign Streit to 4/$51.00
Draft:
4 Seth Jones with 7 picks left. |

Still no Bernier deal in Toronto?
What does that mean come Friday if other teams want to make him an offer? |

And considering then we'd have 8 top-6 forwards
Bobby would be a good FA pickup when he hits the market in 2 years. We should get him for a fair price seeing as he wants to play here. He's Nothing to give assets for, especially since he's non-essential. Maybe he'll be a good replacement for Hartsy when Hartsy starts to decline more in a couple years. |

Technically means that option's open
Pretty sure Toronto is more prepared to match any offers, though. |

I would assume he is still a RFA no matter what which would make him subject to offer sheets. Doubt that happens plus Toronto has quite a bit of cap space to match. |

I like it. If he wants to come home in 2 years, I think we can make that happen. Then he can play with Morin, Lauridsen, Hagg and all the other super-uber defensemen we are currently training in badassery. |
