The Hawks organization felt as many here do that they thought they needed sandpaper and biiger and they got that in Hartman and the got ot get quicker Hayden. Big heavier gusy like him seem to always take time...but IF the get those feet where they want them, you watch out. He is also abrasive along with big....

I think Dahlstrom has been described with divergent views and part of what those of us who tried to catch middle of the night glimpses may have seen the Dahlstrom that still had the concussion symptoms. someone said he seem like a "get in the way" defender, who main bread & butter would be to be that obstacle in the way of enteringthe attack zone, and if the kid was playing hurt, he might have been taking time off, and not going full tilt as a skater too. Big guys at 18 have to still grow into their bodies and get more co-ordinated, not all are "Barkov-like" where they have it together already. He has excellent balance and I think the quickness will have to come, but the samller ice may help as an adjustment to the large sapn from wall to inside in Sweden.

They did a great job with the first pick. The rest don't seem to be near adequate comp for the players they traded.

Luke has tons of skills, but his issue this past season was consistency. The year before, he was frequently paired with Kevin Roy, so it was a lot easier for him to manufacture points with him on his line. This past season, he didn't have that luxury. Good size, and isn't afraid to get his nose dirty in the corners. Best attribute is probably his release....which is quick and very hard. I think he has all the tools to make it at the pro level, but he needs to bring it every night.

Louis Anthony is waterbug quick, surprisingly strong on his skates for being so small. Kid also has some dirty to his game as he'll hack and whack.... Remember when looking at this kid's, or any NTDP player, stats they play 25 or so games a year v the very top D1 programs like Notre Dame, Boston College, North Dakota and Minnesota. 17-18 year old kids, the best in the country, against 19-20-21 year olds in the top NCAA programs.

I grew up in Roselle, moved here 10 years ago. The wife has lived her all 31 years of her life.

I saved the shaving of my playoff beard until after my daughters softball team won their championship. Shave it off yesterday, I got good use out of it 2 championships!!
